TERRIFIC THIAGO WINS FIRST CAREER PREMIER SERIES EVENT IN NAMPA: Thiago Salgado rode supreme in Nampa, Idaho, last weekend, putting together an immaculate 4-for-4 performance to win his first premier series title and rise to No. 17 in the Unleash The Beast standings as the gold buckle race enters the championship stretch. Finding his groove, the Brazilian topped Rockville for 86 points in Round 1 on Thursday before hanging on to Time Bomb in Round 2 for 68.5 points. He then became the first ride to three qualified rides in Round 3, sitting tall atop Bubba G for 83.25 points. Choosing Brusta as his final animal athlete opponent, Salgado rocketed out of the gate for 88.75 points to complete his perfect weekend and take home his first victory on the top tour. PARTY IN THE USA: Jose de Castro makes his debut on U.S. soil this weekend in Sioux Falls. The 25-year-old is currently the No. 1 ranked rider in Brazil, where he has gone an incredible 35-50 (75%) over the past two seasons. Already declared for the 2024 PBR Teams New Rider Draft, Castro is ready to show teams and fans alike what he has to offer in the final month of the premier series season. His first out will be aboard Whiskey Trip in the opening round on Friday
THE RETURN OF SAGE KIMZEY: After being out since the second major of the season in Sacramento, California, while recovering from elbow surgery, No. 34 Sage Kimzey returns to action in Sioux Falls. The Oklahoman started the season strong, recording two Top-10 finishes in Tucson, Arizona, and St. Louis, Missouri, but then lost his rhythm as he battled injury, sliding to 6-for-17 (35%) on the season. Finally healthy, Kimzey is ready to make up for lost time by taking on Sweet Train in Round 1
