LINCOLN, Neb. – PBR (Professional Bull Riders) is joining with renowned comedian Larry the Cable Guy to bring fans a very special bull ride and a new level of excitement to the upcoming Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour event in Lincoln, Nebraska, on April 13. The two entertainment powerhouses have launched the Larry the Cable Guy’s Git-R-Done Bounty Bull, presented by Morgan & Morgan America’s Largest Injury Law Firm, which will afford the event winner of PBR Lincoln inside Pinnacle Bank Arena the chance to attempt the multihyphenate entertainer’s bull Mr. Koolie for their chance at $10,000.

Larry the Cable Guy has a longstanding history with the sport as an avid fan and investor in the organization’s bovine athletes. While Mr. Koolie is his newest bovine athlete, Larry the Cable Guy was a partial owner in one of the sport’s top all-time and most beloved bulls, World Champion Bull Chicken on a Chain.

“I’m super excited to be involved with the PBR in bringing the bounty bull to the Lincoln, Nebraska, Velocity Tour event,” said Larry the Cable Guy. “I’ve loved the sport for many years and co-owned a few great bulls, one being the 2007 World Champion Bull Chicken on a Chain, no lie we got the buckle! I want to thank the PBR for bringing this event to Lincoln where we know how to Git-R-Done when it comes to bull riding in the Cornhusker State. I’m excited for fans of the PBR and my hometown fans to watch my Bull Mr. Koolie start his run at being a legend.”

“For about as long as I’ve been around the sport, Larry the Cable Guy has been around it, too, as a fan and a bull owner,” said Sean Gleason, Commissioner and CEO of PBR. “Millions know him for making them laugh. Less recognized – and that’s the way he likes it – is his big, generous heart, quietly raising millions of dollars for various charities. We’re honored he’s part of the PBR family.”

Larry the Cable Guy is a multiplatinum recording artist, Grammy nominee, Billboard award winner and one of the top comedians in the country. Larry the Cable Guy, who continues to tour around the United States, has created The Git-R-Done Foundation, which was named after Larry the Cable Guy’s signature catchphrase, and has donated more than $7 million to various charities.

The bull riding action for PBR Lincoln begins at 7 p.m. CST on Saturday, April 13. All 36 competing bull riders will get on one bull each in Round 1. The Top 10 will advance to the championship round later that evening for one more out and a chance at the event title.

When the dust settles, the winner of PBR Lincoln will then have their chance to attempt Mr. Koolie. If the rider reaches the requisite 8, he will earn the $10,000 Larry the Cable Guy’s Git-R-Done Bounty, presented by Morgan & Morgan America’s Largest Injury Law Firm.

Thus far in his career, Mr. Koolie has appeared at 37 PBR events, logging 47 outs, with just two resulting in a qualified ride. Boasting a 95.7% buckoff rate, Mr. Koolie will enter the bounty bull showdown with a 26-out buckoff streak across all levels of competition. The lone two riders to have covered the powerful animal athlete were 2018 PBR World Finals event winner Marco Eguchi (Poa, Brazil) in January 2022, and Dustin Herman (Dudley Shoals, North Carolina) in July 2022.

Mr. Koolie last bucked at the premier Unleash The Beast event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in early March. Drawn by Koltin Hevalow (Smithville, Missouri), Mr. Koolie made quick work of the World Champion contender, tossing him in 3.51 seconds to earn a 43.25-point bull score.
