PBR Canada adds second day to debut Cup Series event in Kingston, Ontario

Following immediate sell out, the Kingston Classic will now take over Slush Puppie Place June 4-5.

By Kacie Albert

KINGSTON, Ont. – In response to unprecedented demand for tickets for its scheduled one-day debut at Kingston, Ontario’s Slush Puppie Place on June 5, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada has added a second night to its Kingston Classic. The second performance to the elite Cup Series’ stop in Kingston is now scheduled for Tuesday, June 4.

This is the first time Canada’s premier bull riding series has added a day to a scheduled event on the circuit after ticket sales began due to extraordinary demand.

“It took less than a day for the people of Kingston and the greater Ontario province to show us how much they have been craving a PBR event, with the initial one-day PBR Kingston Classic selling-out in less than 24 hours,” said PBR Canada General Manager Jason Davidson. “Only three of our regular-season events were scheduled to be two days, and it was an easy decision to make Kingston the fourth and only one in Ontario. We can’t wait to bring the elite Cup Series to Kingston, and now thanks to the town’s great people, we get the chance to hold two incredible, can’t-miss nights of bull riding competition.”

“The overwhelming success of PBR in Kingston shows that our fans are ready to cheer on the bulls and riders,” said Slush Puppie Place General Manager Brandon Tattersall. “We’re excited to be able to bring this event to Kingston and to be a part of the excellent reputation of the PBR tour.”

For two nights, fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the unpredictable, action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 2,000-pound opponents born to buck.

The PBR will now buck into Kingston on Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5, with competition getting underway nightly at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the event on June 4 go on sale Friday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. EST, and start at $25, standard ticketing fees may apply, and can be purchased at the Slush Puppie Place Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.ca.
