Did you miss us?! The PBR is back in a big way, with the 2024 Unleash The Beast season kicking off this past weekend with the PBR Tucson in Tucson, Arizona. And if you missed it, you missed a lot. Like, 42 rides. Caden Bunch stole the show with the first UTB win of his career, John Crimber made some noise of his own, and don’t forget about Cody Jesus. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.
On the Unleash The Beast…
Caden Bunch may not have been one of the biggest names in this year’s stellar rookie class, but he is now. The 20-year-old went 3-for-3 to beat out several multi-time World Champions for the win in Tucson, the first premier series victory of his career.
What’s better than one round winner? Three round winners! Andrew Alvidrez, Kyler Oliver, and – another rookie – Cassio Dias split the Round 1 win with matching 89-point scores.
Cody Jesus may not be a rookie, but in Tucson, he was something even better – the hometown hero. The Window Rock, Arizona, native made his return to the UTB with a big ride in Round 1, ultimately finishing fifth overall in his home state.
