With the electric 5-on-5 PBR Camping World Team Series set to continue in Las Vegas, Nevada, during the 2023 PBR Camping World Team Series Championship Saturday, Oct. 21, T-Mobile Arena will host the best bull riders in the world and as the league looks to crown its second-ever PBR Teams Champions:
WALK-OFF WINNERS: The Arizona Ridge Riders and Oklahoma Freedom both won in dramatic fashion Friday night. Arizona’s Keyshawn Whitehorse ended a shootout in the first game of the postseason with a bang, walking off the Carolina Cowboys, 344–265.5, courtesy of an 88.5-point dance with Twisted Feather. Not to be outdone, the Freedom’s Caden Bunch converted in his team’s final out for 86.25 points to edge out the 2022 PBR Teams Champion Nashville Stampede, 262–261.5. In Game 1 on Saturday, Oklahoma faces off with the Texas Rattlers, who bested them in the Third Place Game last year, while the Arizona Ridge Riders battle the Kansas City Outlaws
WON’T STOP DREAMING: This year, it is the Missouri Thunder’s turn to spark the Cinderella story after last year’s historic run by the Nashville Stampede. While the Thunder fell in Round 1 match play to the Texas Rattlers, Co-Head Coaches Luke Snyder and Ross Coleman rallied their troops for the Last Chance Game. Inspired, rookies Felipe Furlan and Kade Madsen converted for the young squad, keeping their championship hopes alive and advancing Missouri to Round 2 for the first time in franchise history. The team faces a tall task Saturday as they take on the regular-season champion Austin Gamblers, who beat them in all four contests this season.
