MANCHESTER, N.H. – For the fourth time in history, PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) premier Unleash The Beast will buck into SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, holding PBR Manchester Dec. 15-16.

For two nights only, more than 30 of the best bull riders in the world will go head-to-head against the sport’s rankest bovine athletes, showcasing the ultimate showdown of man vs. beast in one of the most exciting live sporting events to witness.

The upcoming PBR Manchester will be just the third event of the new individual season as riders vie for early points in the race to be crowned the 2024 PBR World Champion. The tour stop in New Hampshire is known for its spirited, raucous crowds, and is becoming one of the most popular throughout the season.

When the PBR last travelled to Manchester in December 2022, courtesy of a perfect 3-for-3 effort inside SNHU Arena, including the high-marked ride of his career, Andrew Alvidrez (Seminole, Texas) won his career-first Unleash The Beast event.

As the action got underway, Alvidrez tied for the round win when he covered Valentine (Blake Sharp/Henry Wilson) for 87.25 points. Alvidrez then delivered his second score of the event in Round 2, conquering Ponotoc (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger) for 84.25 points. While he was surpassed for the event lead, Alvidrez held firm at second on the event leaderboard to have an early pick in the championship round bull draft.

Alvidrez elected to go head-to-head with Canadian-born Yellowknife (Blake Sharp/Michael Floyd) and matched the mammoth animal athlete jump-for-jump en route to the whistle, awarded a career-best 91.75 points to clinch his career-first Unleash The Beast victory.

Compliments of the win, Alvidrez earned a crucial 140 Unleash The Beast points. He catapulted eight positions in the Unleash The Beast World Championship standings, surging from No. 11 to No. 3.

Following his win in Manchester, Alvidrez earned his second Unleash The Beast victory the following weekend in Albany, New York to surge to the world No. 1 rank. While Alvidrez was ultimately surpassed for the top spot, he qualified for his fourth career World Finals ranked No. 6.

At the 2023 PBR World Finals in May, Alvidrez delivered the high-marked ride, earning him the coveted Lane Frost/Brent Thurman Award, but fell short of his career-first World Championship, concluding the individual season No. 7 in the world.

Prior to the 2023 event, the PBR Unleash The Beast last travelled to Manchester in October 2021 as young gun Jesse Petri (Dublin, Texas) won his first-ever Unleash The Beast event.

When the PBR debuted in Manchester in 2020, two-time PBR World Champion Jess Lockwood (Volborg, Montana) rode supreme en route to concluding the season ranked No. 5 in the world.

The bull riding action for PBR Manchester begins with Round 1 at 7:45 p.m. ET on Friday, December 15, followed by Round 2 and the championship round at 6:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, December 16. All competing bull riders will get on one bull each in Rounds 1-2. Following Round 2 Saturday evening, the riders’ individual two-round scores will be totaled with the Top 12 advancing to the championship round for one more out and a chance at the event title.

Tickets for the two-day event are on sale now, and start at $20, taxes and fees not included. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, SNHUArena.com and PBR.com, or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727.
