FORT WORTH, Texas – At the third iteration of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Stockyards Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas, Weston Hartman (Mandan, North Dakota) and Jate Frost (Randlett, Utah) rode supreme, tying for the event win.

Each going 1-for-2, the duo of riders was electric in Round 1, tying for the top score.

Delivering matching 87-point rides, Hartman rode Elkins 876 (Philip Elkins) while Frost converted atop Brindle Bob (Carr Pro Rodeo).

Neither Hartman nor Frost found success in the championship round, upended by Minion (Brickyard Bulls/Melton Bull Co./Stockyards Pro Rodeo) in 2.84 seconds, and Hot Spot (Stockyards Pro Rodeo) in 2.4 seconds, respectively.

The golden finish garnered both Hartman and Frost 39.5 Velocity Global points.

Emilio Resende (Santa Helena do Goias, Brazil) and Flavio Zivieri (Balsamo, Brazil) tied for third, each collecting 20 Velocity Global points.

The podium finish was earned via 86.5-point rides logged in Round 1. Resende dominated Pegasus (Carr Pro Rodeo), and Zivieri topped He Reigns (Carr Pro Rodeo).

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Joao Ricardo Vieira (Itatinga, Brazil).

Vieira rode Atwoods Hats (United Pro Rodeo) for 85.5 points to net 15 Velocity Global points.
