Kansas City Outlaws return to T-Mobile Center for 2023 PBR Team Series homestand August 3-5

Tickets for PBR Outlaw Days, showcasing Kansas City’s first-ever professional bull riding team, on sale now!

By Kacie Albert

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ahead of the second season of the ground-breaking PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Team Series, the Kansas City Outlaws today announced that their annual homestand, PBR Outlaw Days, will return to T-Mobile Center Aug. 3-5.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, and start at $20, taxes and fees not included. They can be purchased online at AXS.com, PBR.com and t-mobilecenter.com or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727.

The Outlaws are Kansas City’s first-ever professional bull riding team, competing in the PBR Team Series, which transforms bull riding from an individual to team-formatted competition. Under the leadership of Head Coach and 2002 PBR World Finals event winner J.W. Hart, the team features a talent-packed roster including Missouri natives Bob Mitchell (Steelville) and Koltin Hevalow (Smithville).

During the 2023 regular season, each of the eight founding teams will compete in 28 head-to-head, five-on-five bull riding games, held across 10 events. The team with the highest aggregate score will be the game winner.

Each team will host a three-day homestand, welcoming the seven other teams, while also competing in two neutral site events, beginning with the season-launch event on July 24-25 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The season will conclude in Las Vegas Oct. 20-22 when the teams will go head-to-head in the PBR Team Series Championship, vying to be crowned the 2023 Team Series Champions.

PBR Outlaw Days will mark the second event of the 2023 PBR Team Series season, and first team-hosted homestand.

The Kansas City Outlaws will return to the arena this summer keen to win their first PBR Team Series Championship.

In 2022, the team went 12-16 in game play, twice finishing runner-up to the event win in Nashville and Fort Worth, Texas. In the Lone Star State, the Outlaws delivered their first 3-0 record in game play, beating the Carolina Cowboys, Nashville Stampede and Missouri Thunder.

During the offseason for PBR Teams, the Outlaws’ riders have proved a force on the premier individual tour, the PBR Unleash The Beast. Reigning PBR Rookie of the Year Mitchell leads the contingent, currently ranked No. 23 in the 2023 World Championship race. His season to date has been headlined by a third-place finish in New York City, which included the second 90-point ride of his young career.

Mitchell is joined inside the Top 35 in the standings by Hevalow, currently No. 27, and Kyler Oliver, who is ranked No. 29 and logged the high-marked ride of his career at the most recent premier series stop in Tulsa when he covered UTZ BesTex Smokestack for a monstrous 92 points.

The Outlaws will be one of the featured bull riding teams in the highly anticipated upcoming docuseries The Ride, debuting later this year on Prime Video.
