Daniel Keeping on 714 Body Count:
Another outstanding draw for Keeping, who has a good chance to get a big score here. Body Count is a decent fit for left-handed riders. This bull has a lot of moves and a lot of action and can deliver big scores. Keeping doesn’t have a guarantee here, but he has a great opportunity.
Junior Patrik Souza on 80 Whiplash:
This is a really nice draw for any left-handed rider. This bull brings it, and is not easy to ride, but he’s honest and gives everyone a chance. Souza has ridden 3 of his last 4 and has a lot to prove this year. He has a shot at a round win with this bull.
Dalton Kasel on 814 Tulsa Time:
Kasel was 90.25 on this bull at the World Finals in May, but bucked off of him in the same arena at the Rattlers home event in October. Tulsa Time is 17-1 overall, so Kasel is the only man who has ridden him. This will be a challenge for Kasel, but if he can get it done, he has a chance to grab the lead going into the short round.
Silvano Alves on 346 Mr. Winston:
Really good bull here for Alves, who won the first round. Mr. Winston can go both ways, but he’s rideable and Alves rode him for 88.5 points just a couple of months ago.
Keyshawn Whitehorse on 1212 Gambini:
Like Kasel, Whitehorse is 1-for-2 against this bull, but both of those happened 4 years ago in 2018. Gambini has been around for a long time, and he’s lasted so long because he’s pretty good at beating guys at this level. Right-handed riders have a little better chance against him, but he’s pretty tough for everyone. He’s another long round bull who has borderline short round level difficulty.
Wingson Henrique da Silva on 32F Black Sox:
Black Sox is 1-3 against left-handed riders, and he’s a pretty nice bull to have when you already have one score. Silva beat a much tougher bull in Round 1 for 85.25 points. Silva has been hanging out with Junior Patrik Souza over the past year, as both guys are looking to make their mark at the UTB level, and both of them are in contention here.
Cooper Davis on 50F Casper:
Davis beat a similar challenge in the first round. This is a rideable but not easy bull. Cooper Made his first-round bull look easy, and the way he’s riding, he’ll probably do the same here. Since his return during the Teams season, Davis has put up better numbers than he ever has. He’s riding better than he did when he won a world title in 2016.
Wyatt Rogers on 7080 Marciano:
Rogers got a qualified ride in the first round and has a decent chance here. Marciano usually goes to the left, but he has timing and is pretty smooth. He’s been ridden 4 times in his last 5 outs. As Rogers makes his way along at this level, he’ll need to knock out bulls like this routinely, and he should be able to handle it.
Luciano de Castro on 846 Moon Pearl:
Castro had the fourth-highest percentage chance at a qualified ride in Round 1, and the highest overall tonight. Neither of his bulls have looked especially easy on paper – both relatively new bulls. But, Castro is on a roll lately. He’s ridden 9 of his last 14 bulls going back to Ridge Rider Days in Ridgedale, Arizona.
