2023 Unleash The Beast Game Notes: Manchester

12.16.22 - Unleash The Beast

2023 Unleash The Beast Game Notes: Manchester

Taking a deeper dive into the statistics, stories and standards heading into this weekend's PBR Manchester Invitational.

By Kacie Albert

As the PBR's Unleash The Beast rolls into Manchester, New Hampshire's SNHU Arena this weekend for its fourth weekend of electric bull riding action, PBR.com is highlighting some of the season's most memorable moments, top riders, career achievements and beyond!

  • Keep on Keeping On: After delivering a 92.5-point outing aboard

    Flapjack

to cap off his flawless 3-for-3 weekend and earn his first event title, rising superstar

    Daniel Keeping

enters Manchester as the No. 1 ranked rider in the world. Continuing to defend his tour-best 7-for-9 record (77.8%) en route to racking up more than $57,000 in winnings through three events, Keeping will be matched against

    Smokestack

Saturday night in Round 1 as the 23-year-old looks to extend his 28-point lead over No. 2

    Cooper Davis

  • Welcome to The Beast: While this weekend's draw features a variety of well-known and respected talents, several riders continue to take time away from tour due to injuries, time with family and beyond. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Manchester will welcome four riders who are set to make their UTB career debut, including:

    Bruin Bradshaw

    ,

    Tate Pollmeier

    ,

    Trevor Reiste

    and

    Wellington Ferreira

  • Cuts are Coming: In an interest of featuring the world's hottest riders on the UTB stage, riders are constantly competing to stay out of the basement of the standings. Following this weekend's event, riders ranked No. 36-40 are subject to being cut. During each round of cuts, the open positions will first be filled with those riders having injury exemptions, followed by the Premier Series Qualifier List, based on Velocity Global points
