LAS VEGAS – The Carolina Cowboys (15-13) may be the No. 4 seed heading into the 2022 PBR Team Series Championship Friday night at T-Mobile Arena, but most of the coaches consider the Cowboys the best team in the league.

All eight coaching staffs were asked on Thursday who they believe is the best team and the top underdog to watch out for. (Teams were not allowed to vote for themselves).

The majority of the coaches have pinpointed two teams as the strongest in the league – Carolina and actual the No. 1 seed, the Austin Gamblers (16-12).

“Carolina really should be, talent-wise, but Austin has Jose (Vitor Leme) and Dalton (Kasel) and a team of superstars,” said one coach. “Carolina is a superstar team as well.”

Carolina (15-13) was originally the No. 1 team in the PBR Team Series standings until ending the season 1-5 and dropping to the No 4 position.
