PUEBLO, Colo. – Want to be more involved in the PBR Team Series?

You’re in luck.

Beginning Sept. 12, PBR Team Series digital trading cards will be available on the PBR Stockyard Marketplace – the home of PBR NFTs. Fans with Team rider cards can enter a weekly fantasy contest for bragging rights over other owners.

How does it all work?

  1. Combine owned NFT trading cards to create a fantasy team.
  2. Earn points each week based on the real-world PBR Team Series events.
  3. Keep scoring points to climb the PBR Fantasy Leaderboard.

The game is based on PBR Team Series events, allowing card owners to earn points based on how the real riders actually perform.

To create a fantasy team, owners choose seven riders from their collection of cards – so you must own a rider’s card in order to place him on your fantasy team. (Fifty-six PBR Team Series riders are available for users to play.)

When a rider scores points during an event, the user receives the same number of points that rider scored. Users only receive points when they have a full team of seven riders selected.

Users can change their team throughout the season, but they must do so between Monday at noon ET and Thursday at midnight ET to receive points for those riders in the coming week. From Thursday at 12:01 a.m. ET until Monday at 11:59 a.m. ET, users cannot change their players.

Points earned for an event are awarded to users on Mondays at or around 10 a.m. ET. When a rider scores points in the PBR Team Series events, that same number of points is awarded to all users who are playing that rider on their team that week.

Each week, users receive the aggregate points that the players on their team earn in real-life events. Each week, those points get added to their total score, which is reflected on the leaderboard.

The user with the most total points will hold the No. 1 spot on the leaderboard, and the user in the No. 1 spot at the end of the season will be the winner.

The only prize up for grabs is bragging rights – which, let’s be real, is about as valuable as they come.

So remember, check out the PBR Stockyard Marketplace on Sept. 12 on the newest way to be a PBR superfan.
