FORT WORTH, Tex. – As part of Fort Worth’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) today announced the return of Mexico en la Sangre, a one-of-a-kind event celebrating Hispanic culture, to Cowtown Coliseum, scheduled to fill the iconic Stockyards once again with the spirit of Mexico on Sunday, September 18.

Mexico en la Sangre, co-produced by PBR and Cassy Promotions Corp., is part of the PBR’s continued commitment to bring diverse western content celebrating all cultures to Cowtown Coliseum.

Mexico en la Sangre is a unique showcase event bringing the Hispanic culture to the heart of Fort Worth. The joyful, highly-entertaining event featuring live music, dancing horses, Charros, Folkorico dancers and more will be one of the culminating events for Fiestas Patrias Celebration, the kick-off event for Fort Worth’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.

Mexico en la Sangre’s addition to the Fiestas Patrias Celebration event schedule comes just months after De Toro a Todo captivated fans inside Cowtown Coliseum in May during the 2022 PBR World Finals, bringing attendees the same all-encompassing Latin experience that will again fill the iconic rodeo venue on September 18.

Mexico en la Sangre-Fiesta Cultura begins at 2:00 p.m. CDT on Sunday, September 18 at Cowtown Coliseum.

Among the events fans can expect to see during Mexico en la Sangre include: reigning demonstrations (Cala de Caballo), side saddle choreographed horse routines (Escaramuzas), dancing horses (Alta Escuela) and jumping horses (Cabriola Dressage), charro-style bull riding (Monta De Toro), youth bronc riding, youth calf roping, rope tricks (Manganas) and traditional Spanish dancing and mariachis.

The Fiestas Patrias Celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. CT in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. After performances from the Infinite Daze Music Academy’s kids’ mariachi band, and Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth, event-goers will get to partake in the iconic Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive at 11:30 a.m. CT.

At 11:35 a.m. there will be the Ceremonia del Grito by the Consul General of Mexico Francisco De la Torre Galindo and City Councilman Carlos Flores.

After, there will be a Hispanic Heritage Celebration Parade, followed by live music and entertainment, all leading into Mexico en la Sangre.

Tickets for Mexico en la Sangre are on sale now and can be purchased at CowtownColiseum.com or the Cowtown Coliseum Box Office.

Tickets start at $30 for adults and $15 for children, taxes and fees not included. For a more close-up experience, fans can also purchase Silver Spur Seats for $40, VIP Seats for $45 and Gold Buckle Seats for $55.
