You’ll step back in time when you walk into the opulently decorated lobby at one of the most historic sites in the Fort Worth Stockyards. At the corner of Main Street and Exchange Avenue, The Stockyards Hotel is at the epicenter of it all. Every guestroom is unique in its décor reflecting the era of the Old West and the early 19th century. The building has been welcoming guests since 1907, and in 1982, the hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Hunter Brothers H3 Ranch shares space with the hotel and it’s a great place to settle in with a margarita and a steak.

The eight-room building was originally a boarding house so if you’re looking for charm and a story to tell, this is the place for you. Each of the rooms is decorated in varying shades of Wild West décor.

Eight of the rooms have sinks in the room but shared bathrooms, so it’s a true, old-school B&B.
