Ahead of the 2022 PBR World Finals, learn more about where to stay in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth beckons visitors to sit back and stay awhile. Here are nine places to lay your head in the Stockyards National Historic District

Courtyard by Marriott Historic Stockyards

Located near Billy Bob's Texas, the Courtyard by Marriott's Boot Library is apropos considering the number of boots that have been kicked up at its neighbor's famous dancefloor over the last 30+ years. A twinkly light-lit outdoor pool and patio will put you in mind of the Texas Hill Country while the interior is a mix of sleek surfaces and western-influenced textiles and accents. Enjoy breakfast, bites and dinner options from The Bistro as well as free Wi-FI.

Hotel Drover

The city has long been a welcome retreat for weary travelers thanks to its historic spot along the Chisholm Trail. The Hotel Drover exudes urban luxuries that even cowboys today can't deny. The rich, sophisticated interior smells of new leather and hide while the exterior boasts a heated outdoor pool, fire pits, a bar and live music. 97West Kitchen & Bar is serving up meals well beyond the chuckwagon dinners once enjoyed, and pet amenities (not for horses or longhorns) include a bandana and snacks for your pup.

Hyatt Place

If you want to be in the center of all the action in the Stockyards, look no further. Hyatt Place is located in the middle of East Exchange Avenue and across the street from the Cowtown Coliseum. Check out the John Wayne Suite –– complete with a western-themed living area, dining area and the classic Hyatt super-pillowy mattress. Enjoy free WI-FI and breakfast as well as pet-friendly rooms.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Historic Stockyards

This hotel’s known for having the only rooftop bar in the area –– and the view from the top is truly stunning. Atico, the restaurant, is open daily and worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel. Outside the lobby, there’s a small patio with tables and chairs where you can kick back and enjoy the nightlife passing by. Enjoy free WI-FI and breakfast as well as an outdoor pool.

Stockyards Hotel

You’ll step back in time when you walk into the opulently decorated lobby at one of the most historic sites in the Fort Worth Stockyards. At the corner of Main Street and Exchange Avenue, The Stockyards Hotel is at the epicenter of it all. Every guestroom is unique in its décor reflecting the era of the Old West and the early 19th century. The building has been welcoming guests since 1907, and in 1982, the hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Hunter Brothers H3 Ranch shares space with the hotel and it’s a great place to settle in with a margarita and a steak.

Cadillac Hotel

It’s a whimsical space for the no-frills traveler. The boarding house offers 10 guest rooms with dorm-style accommodations (think a shared hallway bathroom), a parlor area and a coffee nook.

Miss Molly’s

Fancy staying in a former brothel? Everything’s bigger in Texas, and that includes the legends about how this hotel came to be. The eight-room building was originally a boarding house so if you’re looking for charm and a story to tell, this is the place for you. Each of the rooms is decorated in varying shades of Wild West décor.

Azalea Plantation B&B Inn

Just 10 minutes from the Stockyards, you’ll find this beautiful historic home nestled in a veritable urban forest. Four lavishly decorated, beautiful rooms await, including the Magnolia Suite which has its own little outdoor living area. The rooms here book up fast so planning ahead is a must.

Stone House Bed and Breakfast

Like Miss Molly’s, this property was originally a boarding house –– except the Stone House hosted the cowboys. The common areas are decked out in the style of the old Chisholm Trail, and the 10 rooms are decorated lovingly with Western memorabilia. Eight of the rooms have sinks in the room but shared bathrooms, so it’s a true, old-school B&B.
