FORT WORTH, Texas –The World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) has announced the 63 athletes (seven athletes per discipline) who have qualified for the Dec. 18 Showdown Round.
The breakaway roping roster is highlighted by two-time Women’s Rodeo World Champion Madison Outhier, who is facing off against legendary cowgirl Lari Dee Guy and ICU nurse Tacy Kay Webb. California Cowboy and 2019 World Champion Clayton Biglow headlines the bareback riding, while three-time PBR World Finals qualifier Daylon Swearingen cinched a position in the bull riding.
Eighteen-year-old tie-down roper and two-time WCRA Champion Riley Webb (former Triple Crown of Rodeo Contender) will challenge World Champion Shad Mayfield in tie-down roping. The surfing cowgirl Britta Strain will compete in two disciplines, barrel racing and breakaway roping. Strain will be the only athlete in the Saturday evening event to compete in two disciplines.

The following three athletes are still eligible for the Triple Crown of Rodeo- a $1 Million bonus to any one athlete or collection of athletes who win first place in any three consecutive WCRA Major Rodeos:

On Dec. 25 at 2 p.m. ET fans will be able to tune into the Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo Triple Crown of Rodeo Round on a CBS network broadcast.
The Cowtown Christmas Championship Rodeo is playing host to the final stop to the WCRA’s Triple Crown of Rodeo (TCR) during the 2021 series and will have a guaranteed payout of $360,000. Each champion will walk away with a minimum of $12,500.
