CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Teams for PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) second-annual Cowboys for a Cause on September 4 will feature the Top 30 bull riders in the world and four previous PBR World Champions.
Bucking above the waves on the deck of the historic USS Lexington for the second-straight season, the 2021 PBR Air Force Reserve Cowboys for a Cause showcases world No. 1 and reigning World Champion Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil) – fresh off of his record-breaking performance in Nashville, Tennessee – leading Team South Point. His countryman and 2018 World Champion Kaique Pacheco (Itatiba, Brazil) heads up Team Boot Barn, while current world No. 3 and 2016 World Champion Cooper Davis (Jasper, Texas) captains Team Pendleton Whisky.
Constructing a bull riding arena on the 910-foot-long flight deck of the famed “Blue Ghost” more than five stories above the waves, the floating museum will turn into the home of a two-hour VIP team-based competition with an accompanying two-hour CBS network television broadcast.
