Andy Watson of Bull Stock Media is in his 26th season as the PBR’s lead photographer, and has captured nearly every ride in PBR history.
“To be able to freeze that moment and look at it and see everything in it is really cool, and to (the riders) it means a lot,” Watson said. “Every ride is something special, whether it is good, bad, great form or their buddies are in the background.”
This season, Watson is taking fans behind the lens of some of his favorite photos, sharing his thoughts and processes as he covers each Unleash The Beast event.
Below are Watson's favorite images from the PBR Pendleton Whisky Invitational in Arcadia, Florida.

"Ezekiel Mitchell's face says it all in this photo. After his career-high ride of 93 points on YETI World Champion Bull Smooth Operator, Zeke celebrates as he walks back to the chutes. He has a sense of walking on air to me, and I can imagine this natural high he has is something akin to the best feeling on Earth. The celebration continued behind the chutes, with his fellow bull riders giving multiple pats on the back. But, this ride will stay with Zeke for a very long time as one of his greatest. I always enjoy looking back on images like this because we all get a chance to feel a fraction of the energy in the arena that day."
"Lucas Teodoro finds himself in a bad spot during the Arcadia PBR this weekend, but wasn’t on his own. Teammates Cody and Frank were just mere steps away, ready to pull the bull away the second his feet hit the ground. It’s always good knowing someone has your back. With this bullfighter crew, you never have to wonder. The thing I most marvel at with this image is while the image is frozen, you can still 'see' or imagine, rather, what the next frame would have been. There is just so much action to take in even though it is frozen in time."
"I was standing in the alley with the cowboys waiting for the opening to start when I looked through the panels on the back of the chutes and saw Derek Kolbaba watching the opening video. The way he was framed with the panels made this a unique image. You never know when a photo op will show up, so I always like to keep an eye out."
"Bill the Butcher is one of those unpredictable bulls to shoot. You never know what he is going to do, but at some point, he is going to blow way up in the air and leave the crowd stunned. Kaique is in great form here, making this a very cowboy-friendly image. Oftentimes, folks like to see the wild wrecks. But, I do like to showcase riders when they are in complete control, thus demonstrating the amazing skills these athletes put on display week after week."
