Jess Lockwood made up ground in the title race, Team Cooper Tires secured bragging rights at Chad Berger’s team challenge, and the 90-point rides just. Kept. Coming. Miss a moment of the action this weekend? Here’s what happened around the PBR.

In Bismarck…

To take a page out of Oprah’s book… you get a 90-point ride! And you get a 90-point ride! And you get a 90-point ride! Saturday night was a historic one, as the final round of Chad Berger’s $125,000 team challenge saw eight 90-point rides. Yes, EIGHT.

“Wait, hold on, how many points did I get for winning this? Why? How? Round wins? Are you shitting me? Man, I am pumped up right now!” –Jess Lockwood on winning the Dakota Community Bank & Trust Touring Pro Division event.

Derek Kolbaba won Round 1 of the Touring Pro Division event, showcasing the form that’s made him a world title contender.

Give Cooper Davis a team to lead and you can bet that he’s going to show up. (See also: Global Cup.) He led his Team Cooper Tires to the top of the leaderboard on night one of the team challenge.

J.B. Mauney may have had to withdraw from the team event due to a broken eye socket, but he tipped his cap to his fellow riders for blowing the roof off.

If you’re noticing that the top world title contenders showed up in a big way, you’re not alone. As the World Finals nears, PBR Director of Livestock Cody Lambert thinks this crop of riders could be the best the sport has ever seen.

Happy Father’s Day!

J.B. Mauney has two world titles, but more importantly, he has two kids. If he does nothing else, he wants to pass on to them his “never quit” attitude.

The PBR would not be possible without a host of amazing dads. Bull Stock Media’s Jacey Watson spoke to some of them about bull riding and their families.

Up north in PBR Canada…

Todd Chotowetz won the Canadian Touring Pro Division event in Falher, Alberta, and a double-entered Dakota Buttar earned two Top 5 finishes to improve to No. 36 in the world standings.

Down Under in PBR Australia…

Aaron Kleier won the Monster Energy Cairns Invitational and is now No. 14 in the world standings.
