PUEBLO, Colo. – With the 2019 “Unleash The Beast” season kicking into high gear in three weeks, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and CBS Sports released their TV schedule for the first half of the new season. The 2019 PBR season begins on Friday, Jan. 4 and Saturday, Jan. 5 with the Monster Energy Buck Off at the Garden presented by Ariat at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
CBS will broadcast rides from nine events, including three PBR Majors and a Global Cup event, starting with the action from MSG. CBS Sports’ coverage across broadcast and cable is highlighted by the Winstar World Casino and Resort PBR Global Cup USA from AT&T Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 9 and Sunday, Feb 10; Iron Cowboy from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 and the Last Cowboy Standing from the “Daddy of Them All,” Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23.
CBS’ broadcast coverage will also include the popular PBR 15/15 Bucking Battles, which are special bonus rounds that feature the Top 15 riders in the world competing against the Top 15 bulls.
CBS Sports Network will televise more than 100 hours of PBR action, including 36 rounds of coverage across the 18-event first-half.
