PUEBLO, Colo. – Go-round 1 at the 2018 National High School Finals Rodeo continued on Monday in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and the second day of competition wrapped up with a new overall leader in the bull riding.
Cole Skender of Crossett, Arkansas, rode for 86 points in the second performance Monday morning. The 18-year-old moved ahead of Sunday’s winner Chris Wilson (83 points). Also earning a qualified ride was Bucky McAlpine with 41 points.
The third performance Monday evening featured qualified two rides. Bubba Greig led the way with 76 points to move into fifth place overall. He was followed by Jayde Murphy (75 points) good for sixth place overall.
Fans can watch the future stars of rodeo every day on RidePass beginning at 10:45 a.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. ET until the conclusion of the event on July 21.
