Justin Granger is victorious in front of a sold-out crowd at the Real Time Pain Relief Fresno Invitational

Justin Granger won his first Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour event at the Fresno Invitational with an 88.5-point ride on Fantastic in the championship round.

FRESNO, Calif. – Justin Granger (Tuba City, Arizona) won his first Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour event at the Fresno Invitational Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd at the Save Mart Center.

Granger rode Blowing Smoke (Humpz and Hornz / Sis 'N' Stan Bucking Bulls) for 88.5 points in Round 1 before covering Fantastic (Humpz and Hornz / Sis 'N' Stan Bucking Bulls) in the championship round for 88.5 points. He earned $6,475 and 120 points towards the world standings.

Winners of each RVT event in 2018 will be guaranteed at least one opportunity to compete at a regular-season PBR 25th: Unleash The Beast event. Thanks to his victory in Fresno, Granger earned an invitation to The Columbus Invitational Presented by Cooper Tires in Columbus, Ohio April 28-29.

Taylor Toves (Stephenville, Texas) earned second place after an 86.5-point ride aback Tiger Shark (Humpz and Hornz / Sis 'N' Stan Bucking Bulls) before bucking off The Wizard (Humpz and Hornz / Sis 'N' Stan Bucking Bulls) in the championship round. Toves will be walking away from the weekend with 70 points towards the world finals and a check for $4,775.

Santiago Castellanos (Dixon, California) and Cody Tesch (Los Lunes, New Mexico) tied for third. Castellanos earned 86 points aback Hooligan (Evan Matthews) before falling off Hawaiian Bond (Flying U / Cindy Rosser) in the championship round. Tesch covered Renewed Spirit (Rocking Forty-Five Cattle) for 86 points then bucked off Mahala (Flying U / Cindy Rosser) in the short round. Both riders will be going home with a check for $2,575 and 30 points towards the world standings.

Ryan McConnel (Bloomfield, New Mexico) rounded the top five after riding Lots of Spots (Crown 7 Bucking Bulls) for 83.5 points in Round 1 before bucking off High Razor (Crown 7 Bucking Bulls) in the championship round. McConnel earned $1,215 and 15 points towards the world standings.

The next stop on the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour will be in Bangor, Maine at the Cross Insurance Center on March 24-25.
