PUEBLO, Colo. - When Dustin Lynch joins an already star-studded musical lineup performing for fans during PBR Finals Week (Oct. 29 – Nov. 6), as an artist who loves the PBR, he’ll fit right in with fans flocking to Las Vegas.

“The PBR has been a part of my whole life. Growing up, my dad and I would count down the minutes to watching it on TV,” said Lynch, who has three consecutive No. 1 singles and two Top-5 albums. “I'm a huge fan, and it’s an honor to be associated with such an iconic and badass sport and be a part of the World Finals.”  

Texan Kyle Park, who is performing his hard-hitting brand of country music on Toshiba Plaza on Sunday Nov. 7, also grew up glued to the PBR on TV, back when the sport was televised on TNN.

“I'll never forget hearing Donnie Gay announce the names and the rides of Tuff Hedeman, Chris Shivers, Cody Hart, Adriano Moraes, and so many others,” he said. “I've always loved rodeo, from cutting to roping to riding and everything in between. But my favorite has always been bull riding. I respect the hell out of those guys.”

Jerrod Niemann, who performs on Nov. 5 on Toshiba Plaza, owns a bull, High Noon, which he named after his third major album. When High Noon won the 2014 Back Seat Buckers’ $100,000 grand prize, Niemann donated the winnings to his nonprofit, Free the Music USA, which collects used instruments for teens and children in need.

Another band set to rock the Built Ford Tough Series World Finals may not own a bull or have grown up as bull riding fans.

But they are ever-present at the PBR’s elite level, usually during the final rides when the event championship buckle is on the line.

Every PBR fan recognizes the first few unmistakable electric chords of “Bad to the Bone.” And when George Thorogood’s Gibson guitar rings across the arena, that means two-time World Champion J.B. Mauney is about to ride.  

Thorogood has sold more than 15 million records during a four decade-plus career. He says he’s extremely proud his hit song is so closely associated with the man he considers “the toughest cowboy” on tour.

Fans will hear George Thorogood and The Destroyers crank out “Bad to the Bone” live in T-Mobile Arena on the opening night of the World Finals (Nov. 2), when the reigning World Champion is introduced.

One rock star who’ll be jamming at World Finals was first introduced to the bull athletes of the PBR when he was 5 years old, riding on the back of a minibike.

“We used to vacation on the Ohio River where we’d ride minibikes,” remembers Joey Allen, lead guitarist of Warrant. “There was a bull in a pen behind our cottage. Our minibike crashed right into the pen. Sitting there on the ground looking up at that bull was absolutely terrifying.  I snapped to and ran like a gazelle. To this day, I see the guys who ride these beautiful animals as the ultimate athletes. We can’t wait to rock for them at the World Finals!”

These artists, along with Colt Ford, Lita Ford and Rick Springfield, will join the championship week headliner, Steven Tyler, who’s gotten into PBR in a big way after recording, “Hold On (Won’t Let Go),” which is the new theme of the PBR and will be seen in the PBR’s new integrated marketing campaign debuting during World Finals.

Additionally, leading up to the World Finals, there will be more great music inside South Point Arena & Equestrian Center, after each night’s BlueDEF Tour Finals competition. Casey Donahew Band is performing Sunday, Oct. 30 at 9:30 p.m. and Neal McCoy will hit the stage Oct. 31 at 9:30 p.m.

Cumulatively, the artists performing during PBR Finals Week have sold more than 200 million records
