PUEBLO, Colo. – The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) debut at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, is expected to play before a capacity crowd of nearly 17,000 fans this weekend. This will be the first sports event to sell out the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
The two-day event has garnered much interest since its announcement and on-sale in mid-November. As the event neared sellout, the PBR reviewed its production in order to accommodate as many fans as wished to see the PBR’s first-ever visit to Sioux Falls. Even with the refined configuration, the event could sell out completely before the first bull is bucked on Friday night. At present, limited tickets are still available for Friday’s and Saturday’s performances.
“This is s a great start to what we hope will be a long-term relationship and regular stop on the PBR’s Built Ford Tough Series,†PBR Chairman and CEO Jim Haworth said. “We are very happy to see that South Dakota has embraced the PBR so wholeheartedly and are pleased to announce that we are confirmed to return to Sioux Falls in 2016. We’re looking forward to entertaining our enthusiastic fans there for years to come.â€
“The region has responded with tremendous ticket sales for the PBRs first appearance in Sioux Falls,†Chris Semrau, Assistant General Manager of the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, said. “This is the top professional bull riding tour in the world and this weekend’s capacity crowds are in for some exceptional entertainment.â€
The Top 35 bull riders in the world and the fiercest bucking bulls in the business will face off during the PBR First PREMIER Bank PREMIER Bankcard Invitational at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Â
