Check out game notes as action kicks off in the 21st Built Ford Tough World Finals this week in Las Vegas.

FINAL COUNTDOWN – The event that every rider has been working towards all season is finally here, the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals will take place in Las Vegas for the 21st consecutive year on Oct. 22-26 at the Thomas & Mack Center. The richest bull riding event in the world has a $2.3 million purse, including a $1 million bonus to the 2013 PBR World Champion, who also receives the coveted World Champion buckle.

WORLD CHAMPIONS - The PBR World Champion is determined by the bull rider who earns the most Built Ford Tough Series points throughout the regular season and the Built Ford Tough World Finals. Current No. 1 bull rider in the world, Joao Ricardo Vieira, is looking to become the second PBR bull rider to win the world title the year after earning Rookie of the Year. Silvano Alves is the only other bull rider to do so. He won Rookie of the Year in 2010, and notched his first of two World Championships in 2011.
