The PBR LIVE summer streaming schedule will kick off May 31 in Decatur, Texas, where reigning PBR World Champion J.B. Mauney will go head-to-head with reigning PRCA Champion J.W. Harris in a winner-take-all $25,000 challenge.

The first of several marquee summer broadcasts will feature Mauney taking on 2012 World Champion Bull Asteroid, while Harris faces Shepherd Hills Tested at J.W. Hart's PBR Challenge. The matchup will mark the first time in history that a reigning PBR champ has gone head-to-head with a reigning PRCA champ.

“Over the years it’s been talked about,” Hart said regarding Harris competing in the PBR. “We know he can play, but if he can beat those great guys on great bulls, we’ll find out.”

Harris and Mauney both know their showdown will bring with it plenty of excitement and anticipation.

"It’s good for the sport," Harris said. "That’s what keeps bull riding interesting, is you can do these things like this and everybody else knows it’s not what it looks like. It’s going to be a fun thing.”

Mauney added, "Everybody is going to have something to say about it. They always do.”

Other summer events scheduled to air exclusively on PBR LIVE include a battle between Harris and reigning World Champion Bull Bushwacker in Bismarck, North Dakota, as part of Chad Berger’s DCB PBR Bull Riding Challenge on June 13-14.

Bushwacker will then appear at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, California, for the Touring Pro Division event at the Fiesta Stock Horse Show & Rodeo on July 31.
