PUEBLO, Colo.- Bushwacker, the PBR bull who some say is the best bull of all time, is being featured in the latest ESPN The Magazine Body Issue as the "baddest body in sports."
This is the first time in its five-year history that ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue, which gives you permission to "gawk" and "stare," has featured an animal athlete.
The issue, which also includes other greats such as golf legend Gary Player and beach volleyball's Olympic Gold Medalist Kerry Walsh-Jennings, hits the stands today.
Bushwacker, owned by Julio Moreno, is the 2011 PBR World Champion Bull. He bucks on the elite PBR Built Ford Tough Series, taking on the best bull riders in the world during the championship round at each event. Bushwacker faces the best of the best, making his PBR record of 42 consecutive buckoffs even more impressive. The previous record of 34 consecutive buckoffs was amassed against bull riders in preliminary and final rounds, therefore the talent pool varied.
Bushwacker has made short work of World Champion bull riders time after time. He has not been ridden since 2009, when he first appeared on the PBR scene.
On Saturday, Aug. 17, in Tulsa, Okla., Bushwacker will face his next challenger during the championship round of the Built Ford Tough Series Express Employment Personnel Classic presented by Winstar World Casino at the Bok Center. Viewers can watch the "baddest body in sports"go for his record-extending 43 consecutive buckoff when the championship round airs on CBS Sports Network, the home of the PBR Built Ford Tough Series, at 11 p.m. ET on Aug. 17.
