Making a name for herself

18-year-old female stock contractor Paige Stout brings a caring talent to raising bucking bulls.

Lots of girls and young women like to daydream about names for their future babies. And that includes Paige Stout … sort of.

"I've had a list of bull names going since I was 10 years old," said the Weatherford, Texas, stock contractor. "I'll be in the middle of a conversation or singing a song and I'll think, 'Hey, that's a good one.' But my bulls have to earn their names. I save them until I know a bull is going to go far in his career."

At just 18 years old - and one of just a few females in the male-dominated PBR - Stout has several bovine athletes that not only earned the best names from her list, but also coveted spots on the Built Ford Tough Series...
