PUEBLO, Colo. - The Professional Bull Riders announced that for the third year in a row, Jeff Robinson of Mars Hill, N.C., has been voted PBR Stock Contractor of the Year. Robinson finished ahead of Circle T Ranch and Rodeo of Keatchie, La., in voting by the Top 35 bull riders in the world.

Robinson has one of the deepest pens of bulls in PBR history, led by 2007 World Champion Bull Chicken on a Chain, who bucked off two-time World Champion Chris Shivers in 6.73 seconds in his final career out on Saturday. In the last three years, Robinson has had eight contenders for World Champion Bull, including Lightmaker.com's Rango in 2012.

For the second straight year, he was the only contractor to haul bulls to all 28 regular season Built Ford Tough Series events. His 408 outs are 145 more than any other contractor, and his 71 outs in championship rounds are 20 more than the next highest. Robinson and Chad Berger, who was voted Stock Contractor of the Year for three years in a row from 2007-09, are the only two contractors with more than 1,600 combined outs in the last four seasons. They are also the only two contractors since 2003 who have accounted for more than 100 outs in the Built Ford Tough Championship Rounds in any single season. Robinson led with 147 in 2010, while Berger was tops with 108 outs in 2009 and 105 outs in 2008. Robinson also led in 2011.

Robinson began to make a name for himself in the PBR in 2006 when he introduced Chicken on a Chain, who one year later was a contender for World Champion Bull. Chicken on a Chain won the coveted title after Justin McBride rode him for 93 points in the championship round to win his second World Title, and earned Chicken the World Champion Bull award.

Robinson promotes or co-promotes more than a dozen Touring Pro Division events across the country, including the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Big Bull Tour, which has had 20 events in the past two seasons.
