PUEBLO, Colo. - The Professional Bull Riders announced on Tuesday that Montana Silversmiths will return as the official silversmith and licensee for buckles, jewelry products, and accessories in 2012.
"We couldn't be more pleased to have Montana Silversmiths back on board as a partner," said PBR CEO Jim Haworth. "The best athletes and fans in western sports deserve the best buckles and jewelry, and that's just what they'll get. Montana Silversmiths was working wonders in metal long before our current athletes were born, and sharing that tradition again is something special."
Montana Silversmiths will design and produce the championship buckles for the nationally-televised Built Ford Tough Series events, and the Touring Pro Division. It will also design and create the buckles presented at the 2012 Built Ford Tough World Finals, including the coveted World Championship PBR Buckle. Montana Silversmiths produced championship buckles for the PBR from 1998-2003.
"We are incredibly excited and honored to have reestablished this partnership with the PBR," said Montana Silversmiths CEO Rick Ruebusch. "We look forward to a long-standing relationship with the PBR staff, bull riders, and stock contractors."
The legendary producer of fine silver products will also develop a new line of PBR jewelry that will be available at BFTS events and online at www.MontanaSilversmiths.com and www.PBR.com.
