Heroes & Legends: The gathering

The largest reunion of bull riding greats in history takes place on Tuesday, and a few tickets are still available to the public.

By PBR

Next April marks 20 years since the 20 founders of the PBR gathered in a Scottsdale, Ariz., motel room to form the premier bull riding organization in the world.

Next Tuesday night, 17 of those 20 will reunite at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas - the site of the World Finals from 1994 through 1998 - along with dozens of past and present professional bull riders.

The event begins at 4 p.m. with the Founders Forum, and continues until 9 p.m. with the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals Kickoff Party.

Each Legends Reunion ticket package contains tickets to the Founders Forum, Alumni Meet & Greet, Heroes & Legends Ceremony, and the Built Ford Tough World Finals Kickoff Party, as well as a commemorative Legends Reunion ball cap and an autograph book.

Among the founders present will be Ted Nuce and Clint Branger, along with Jim Sharp, Bobby Delvecchio and Aaron Semas. Ty Murray, Cody Lambert, Jerome Davis, David Fournier and Cody Custer - all of whom will be working at the 2011 PBR World Finals - will also be on hand.

Ring of Honor inductees Adriano Moraes, Justin McBride, J.W. Hart and Jerome Robinson, who regularly attend Built Ford Tough Series events, have been confirmed, along with Troy Dunn, Larry Mahan, Charles Sampson, Cody Snyder, Bobby Steiner, Wacey Cathey and Myrtis Dightman.

Other fan favorites on hand include Mike White, Bubba Dunn, Cody Hart, Lee Akin, Brian "Pee Wee" Herman and Lonnie Joe Steverson, as well as Ross Coleman and Paulo Crimber.

In all, 90-plus PBR alumni have confirmed they will attend the first Legends Reunion, which will also include all 43 riders competing in this year's World Finals. Famed bucking bulls Bones, Mossy Oak Mudslinger, Big Bucks, Troubadour, Neon Lights, Camo, Major Payne, Reindeer Dippin' and Red Alert will be housed close by in Las Vegas.
