PBR Fans,
Welcome to the first public access to the new PBR Live Event
Center, live from Columbus, Ohio. It debuted last night, and will
be live again for tonight's Cooper Tires Invitational. This project
is still under construction and we appreciate your patience as we
work through some technical issues. For those of you that were
using the Live Event Center last night, you will notice a number of
improvements made in the last 24 hours. The event begins at 7:00
p.m. ET, but you can preview the Live Event Center now by clicking
here.
Our developers have spent months building and testing the new
design, but pinpointing the final list of bugs and necessary
improvements can only come from real-world, real-time experience.
Your use of the new Live Event Center is helping us to identify
both technical and feature issues that need to be addressed. We
would appreciate your continued use of the new Live Event Center
and encourage you to provide any and all feedback by e-mailing
comments to LECFeedback@pbr.com.
Please also note that our ability to deliver live, streamed video
content is limited by existing agreements with our television
partners. The video provided through the Live Event Center is
intended to be complimentary to live scoring, leaderboards, live
photos and other features, and not a replacement to television
coverage. As such, we will be providing wide angle shots,
behind-the-scenes coverage and you should not expect full coverage
of bull riding action.
In addition to the new Live Event Center on PBR.com, we are
planning to launch iPhone, iPad and Android mobile apps in time for
the PBR World Finals. Each of those apps includes Live Event Center
access, so you can enjoy PBR away from the television, or as a
compliment to live broadcasts. We'll be looking forward to your
feedback on those projects, as well.
Regards,
Sean Gleason
