Riding Coffee Bean (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls) for 87.75 points on Saturday at the Idaho Center, Travis Briscoe (Edgewood, N.M.) remained in the lead after the first two rounds at the Nampa Invitational with 177.50 points.
Briscoe, who won Round 1 with 89.75 points, shared Round 2 with Renato Nunes (Buritama, SP, Brazil), who rode Rude Awakening (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger Bucking Bulls) for 87.75. The pair each took home $2,340 while Jordan Hupp (Cheyenne, Wyo.) finished third and earned $1,170 after scoring 87.25 on Toxic Shock (Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve).
Austin Meier (Kinta, Okla.), who rode Backyard Big Rig (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls), and Josh Koschel (Greeley, Colo.), who covered Juice & Goose (Jeff Robinson Bucking Bulls), split fourth and fifth with 86.75 points. The duo share second and third in the overall with 173.75 points while Nunes is fourth with 171.75 points and Silvano Alves (Pilar do Sul, SP, Brazil) is fifth with 172.50 points.

Briscoe is making a last-minute effort to be chosen to represent the United States in the 2010 World Cup presented by Dickies.
