The Dickies Invitational will feature the best riders in the world including 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil); reigning Dallas event champion and 2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee (Decatur, Texas); PBR superstars J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.), Pistol Robinson (Burleson, Texas), and Colby Yates (Fort Worth, Texas); and 2008 Daisy PBR Rookie of the Year Reese Cates (Carthage, Texas).
A ticket will guarantee PBR fans, new and old, more than two hours of edge-of-your-seat thrills and spills, rock & roll music, and pyrotechnics. The format of the Dickies Invitational consists of three rounds of competition with the first two rounds featuring all 45 riders randomly matched against the sport’s rankest bulls. The top 15 riders based upon their scores after two rounds qualify for the Built Ford Tough Championship Round where they will draft their bull in one final, decisive round of action. The rider with the highest cumulative score on three bulls will earn the coveted Dickies Invitational event title!
The Dickies Invitational will air the first night of competition on VERSUS on Saturday, January 24 at 9:30 p.m. EST. The conclusion of the two-day event can be viewed on VERSUS on Monday, January 26 at 8 p.m. EST. Please check your local listings for more information.
