The Conduct Committee decided that Hayes will be fined $7,500 and will make a public apology during PBR’s next VERSUS broadcast. Furthermore, he will have to enroll in an anger management program and if he does not complete it, he will be suspended for three Built Ford Tough Series events.

The PBR believes that there are two great athletes in every eight second ride---the rider and the bull---and are fully committed to ensuring the much deserved health, safety, and respect of each bull that enters a PBR Arena. To mistreat a bull would be a detriment to the sport upon which a bull rider’s own livelihood depends.
