From the Chute to a Shoot - Playboy Wrangles Up two PBR Superstars

By PBR

The average American does not have a reason to don country fashions every day like Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil) and J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.), but that doesn’t mean they can’t look cowboy-cool in a sports coat with jeans. In Playboy magazine’s August issue (on newsstands and at www.playboydigital.com Friday, July 18) Fashion Director Joseph DeAcetis dresses Marchi and Mauney in jackets by Haspel ($525) and Isaia ($3,995) paired with their PBR jeans by Wranger ($40) in the fashion pictorial dubbed “Cowboy Up”.

Marchi has been the runner-up to the PBR World Champion the last three years. He is currently sitting #1 in the PBR’s Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) standings and has won three event titles so far in 2008. Fan favorite Mauney was the 2006 PBR Daisy Rookie of the Year and has won almost $900,000 after riding professional for only three short years. The 21-year-old is currently sitting #4 in the 2008 BFTS standings.
