The bi-monthly publication underwent a radical redesign effort in January of 2007, to better reflect the mainstream appeal and “extreme-sport” nature of bull riding.
“The new look Pro Bull Rider has immediate high impact,” judges said. “Inventive layouts and graphic illustration sustain this high energy level throughout the magazine. The cover is notably gutsy and original.”
“Reader response has been overwhelmingly positive, and that’s what’s important,” said Jeff Johnstone, Editor in Chief of the PBR. “It’s a privilege to work for such a passionate fan base, and with such a talented group of writers, photographers and staff.”
The magazine, published by Grand View Media, is sent to all TeamPBR members, PBR athletes and stock contractors.
