“The U.S. Border Patrol is a unique American law enforcement agency, steeped in rich tradition. They don’t just serve us on our borders---they protect and defend every inch of the United States from threats to our homeland,” said Sean Gleason, Chief Marketing Officer of the PBR. “PBR bull riders, associates, and fans share the same sense of pride in our country as U.S. Border Patrol agents, and we are honored that they are allowing us the opportunity to help further their recruitment and outreach objectives.”
The U.S. Border Patrol will have event entitlement for the 26th event on the PBR’s elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (PBR) in Grand Rapids, Mich., on September 12-13 at the Van Andel Arena. Chief David V. Aguilar had this to say about the new alliance with PBR, “We believe that the PBR’s core values of patriotism, strong work ethic, and family values are all attributes that the United States Border Patrol is looking for in our recruitment efforts.”
The primary mission of the U.S. Border Patrol since September 11, 2001 is preventing terrorists and terrorist’s weapons from entering the United States. Border Patrol agents perform their duties between the official Ports of Entry along 8,000 miles of land and sea borders.
