This is not the first time the two powerhouse organizations have teamed up. Larry the Cable Guy is a fixture in PBR, lending his likeness to PBR merchandise, co-owning the 2007 PBR World Champion Bull Chicken on a Chain, personally sponsoring recently retired PBR bull rider Tater Porter (Kenansville, Florida), and now championing a PBR event. He even sports PBR baseball caps during his live performances.
“I am very excited to be a part of the Built Ford Tough Series event with the longest title in history. It would have been the perfect event title if Tater Porter didn’t keep trying to attach himself to my name and everything I do with the PBR,” said Larry the Cable Guy. “Actually, I’m looking forward to what will unquestionably be the event of the year. Maybe I can get Tater to lose the cane and ride one more time.”
The PBR is the premier bull riding organization in the world, boasting contestants from the United States, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, and Canada. Its events air weekly on VERSUS at 8:00 p.m. ET Saturday and Sunday nights (please check your local listings for details in your area), and on NBC and FOX throughout the year.
