Northern California bull riding fans were treated to an evening of outstanding rides and harrowing wrecks during the preliminary round of the PBR’s Sacramento Classic. Brendon Clark (Morpeth, NSW, AU) claimed second place in the round with 89.25 points aboard Priest Creek Ranch’s 3 Spot. 2002 PBR World Champion, Ednei Caminhas (P. Alves, SP, BZ) rode into third place with 88 points aboard Ryan McClure’s Home Wrecker.
By virtue of winning the first round of the Table Mountain Casino Invitational in Fresno, Calif. last night, Jason Bennett (Honeygrove, Texas) was eligible to compete for the $5,000 Enterprise Rent-A-Car “Ride with the Best” bonus tonight in Sacramento. Bennett was unsuccessful against Flying U/Moreno Bucking Bulls’ Derringer. Therefore, the bonus money was presented to the owner of the bull. As the winner of the round tonight, Yates will be eligible to compete for the bonus money tomorrow afternoon. Who will claim the Sacramento Classic event title? The heart pounding action continues tomorrow from ARCO Arena on VERSUS at 9 p.m. ET. Please check your local listings for complete broadcast information.
