Express Sports has entered into an agreement to purchase Cowboy Sports Agents (CSA), the premier agency representing bull riders in the world. The new company has been named Express Sports Agency, owner Bob Funk announced at a press conference today.
Express Sports Agency will follow the mantra of Cowboy Sports Agents to be committed to the advancement and promotion of the sport of bull riding and its athletes. Through professional representation of cowboy-athletes, CSA ensured the continued competitive success of the sport and established an opportunity for equal compensation and recognition of bull riding athletes with other professional sports figures.
“The PBR looks forward in working with Express Sports in their new endeavor. Bob Funk and his entire team have shown great integrity, hard work, passion and the willingness to help grow the sport,” states Professional Bull Riders CEO Randy Bernard.
