Justin McBride ' Injury Update

By PBR

The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) has received an injury update on 2005 PBR World Champion Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.). McBride sustained a dislocated left shoulder (free arm) in the first round of competition during the Chihuahua Challenge in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 24. According to Dr. Tandy Freeman, tests are negative for a displaced fracture; however, he does have ligament damage. McBride plans to wait to have surgery until after the 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals presented by Wrangler. He is doubtful to compete at the next Built Ford Tough Series event in Reno, Nev. and is questionable to compete in Greensboro, N.C.
