The world's top 45 bull riders will clash against the best bulls in the industry in this three-day event. Three-time PBR World Champion, Adriano Moraes (Cachoeira Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil) will top the list of competitors in Kansas City. The legendary Brazilian became the first man to earn three PBR World Championships with his come-from-behind assault in 2006. Other fan favorites expected to compete at the Cabela's Classic are 2005 PBR World Champion, Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.), Kansas young-gun, Kasey Hayes (Liberal), and Missouri's superstars, Matt Bohon (Cole Camp), Luke Snyder (Raymore) and Dustin Hall (Springfield).
The format consists of four rounds of competition. The first three rounds feature the same 45 qualified riders randomly matched against the sport's rankest bulls. The top 15 riders based upon their total cumulative score after three rounds qualify for a final decisive round of action, which happens at the conclusion of the third performance on Sunday, March 11. The rider with the highest score on four bulls will earn the coveted Cabela's Classic event title. Every tour point is pivotal in determining who will win the crown of PBR World Champion and the cool million dollars that accompanies it.
