Catch the Ty Murray Invitational on VERSUS

2nd Round Results Are In!!!

The second go round of the Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) Sandia Resort & Casino presents the Ty Murray Invitational, stop No. 14 on the elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS), concluded tonight from Tingley Coliseum. Kasey Hayes (Liberal, Kan.) currently leads the competition for the event title with a total on two bulls of 177 points. The Ty Murray Invitational wraps up on Sunday, April 1 at 2 p.m. Sunday's action culminates with an electrifying championship round featuring the top 15 qualifiers who will be riding for the prestigious event title and ultimately gunning for the 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Championship.

Three-time PBR World Champion Adriano Moraes (Sao Paulo, Brazil) topped Saturday night's event with a score of 88.25 aboard Diamond S Bucking Bulls' Stray Cat. Jason Bennett (Honeygrove, Texas) and Mark Lopes (Pioneer, Calif.) finished in a two way tie for second and third, each with scores of 88 points.

Injury Report:

Travis Briscoe (Edgewood, NM) suffered an injury to his right groin and is questionable to compete.

Cole Taylor (Sayre, Okla.) tore the PCL in his right knee on Friday night and is doubtful to compete.

FIRST ROUND: 1) Kasey Hayes (Liberal, Kan.) 90 points on Andrews Rodeo Company's Rompus, $7,000; 2) Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) 89.5 points on Andrews Rodeo Company's Fender Bender, $5,000; 3) Scott Schiffner (Strathmore, Alberta) 87.75 points on Chad Berger/Clay Struvie's Evil Forces, $3,000.

The Friday night performance in Albuquerque featured an American Bucking Bull, Inc. (ABBI) Classic competition for three and four-year old bulls. Top contenders will qualify to compete for the title of World Bucking Bull Classic Champion, which will be determined in Las Vegas, Nev., in conjunction with the 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals.
