Catch the Tacoma Classic on VERSUS!

Preliminary round action of the Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) Tacoma Classic, stop No. 12 on the elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS), concluded tonight from the Tacoma Dome. The Tacoma Classic will feature PBR athletes back for more in round two, which takes place on Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m. The tour makes consecutive stops each weekend from now through the end of April and promises bull riding fans one of the most intense races in sports.

Saturday night’s event was dominated by Sean Willingham (Summerville, Ga.) who day lighted the field with a score of 91.25 points aboard Corey & Horst Rodeo Company’s bull Stoney. 2005 PBR World Champion Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.) finished second with an 88.25 point effort on Get A Grip Bucking Bulls’ Dirty Devil. Rounding out the top three was West Glacier, Montana’s Beau Hill who topped Corey & Horst Rodeo Company’s 3 Spot for 88 points.

Sunday’s action culminates with an electrifying championship round for of the top 15 qualifiers who will be chasing a shot at the prestigious event title, and ultimately gunning for the 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Championship.
