Preliminary go round action of the Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) Sacramento Classic, stop number four on the elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS), concluded tonight from ARCO Arena. The Sacramento Classic will feature PBR athletes back for more hard-hitting action in round two which takes place on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. The tour makes consecutive stops each weekend from now through the end of April and promises bull riding fans one of the most intense and action packed race in sports.

Sunday’s action culminates with an electrifying championship round for of the top 15 qualifiers who will be chasing a shot at the prestigious event title, and ultimately gunning for the 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Championship.

2004 PBR World Champion Mike Lee (Decatur, Texas) dominated round one with an impressive 89 point effort aboard Gene Owen Bucking Bulls’ Jesse’s Ride. Steven Shelly (Natural Dam, Ark.) finished second with an 88 point effort on Flying U/Moreno Bucking Bulls’ Hurricane. Rounding out the top three was three time PBR World Champion Adriano Moraes (Sao Paulo, Brazil). Moraes twisted Ed Hill Bucking Bulls’ Smokin Joe for 87.75 points.
