PBR Rolls Into Denver Coliseum

Toughest Sport on Dirt Returns for Worcester Classic

By PBR

The fastest growing sport in the U.S. that features the world's top professionally-ranked bull riders and the industry's rankest bucking bulls is coming to Worcester, Mass., Jan. 12 thru the 14. The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will be bucking into the DCU Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12; 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14. The Worcester Classic is the 2nd stop on PBR's elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) presented by Wrangler.

The PBR is honored to visit Worcester for the tenth year. East Coast PBR fans have returned year after year, showing their loyalty by showing up in record numbers and drowning the DCU Center with foot stomping, hand clapping and non-stop allegiance to the PBR's 45 toughest cowboys. "Worcester is one of the most exciting and fun events on the Built Ford Tough Series.  As PBR continues to get more pressure and bigger offers to play larger cities and venues, the PBR has always continued to keep Worcester on the tour because of the great fans," confirms PBR's Chief Executive Officer, Randy Bernard.

Excepting injuries that may occur at events prior to PBR's Worcester stop, cowboys expected to compete include PBR's first and only three-time World Champion Adriano Moraes (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Brazilian sensation Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, BZ) and PBR World Champion Mike Lee (Decatur, Texas).  Also scheduled to be in attendance are fan favorites Mike White (Lake Charles, La.) and "Ironman" J.W. Hart (Overbrook, Okla.).  Last year's event winner Chris Shivers won't be competing in Worcester due to injuries (broken ankle, broken fibula and tibia) sustained at the Hawaii All Star Challenge.

Tickets to the PBR's Worcester Classic are available at the DCU Center Box Office, by calling (617) 931-2000, or log on to http://www.ticketmaster.com/. Tickets prices start at $20.50 (upgrade to $30.50, 50.50 and $100.50) and provide two hours of non-stop action featuring riders from Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and the United States.
