PBR awes sell out crowd at Madison Square Garden

Catch the VERSUS Invitational presented by Amp'd Mobile Sunday on NBC and VERSUS

A sell out crowd cheered on professional bull riders during the first ever Built Ford Tough Series event to be held at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. First and second go round action of the VERSUS Invitational presented by Amp'd Mobile, a part of the Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS), concluded from Madison Square Garden this evening. The third performance of the event will take place on Sunday, January 7 at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon's show culminates with an electrifying championship round for the top 15 qualifiers who will be chasing a shot at the prestigious event title. The PBR tour makes consecutive stops each weekend through the end of April and promises bull riding fans one of the most intense and action packed races in sports.

Three-time PBR World Champion, Adriano Moraes (Cachoeira Paulista Sao Paulo, Brazil) captivated the New York audience when he took top honors in round one with a 90.75 point effort on Doug Joseph Bucking Bulls' Evil Forces. Jared Farley (Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia) was hot on his heels with a 90.25 point ride aboard Tommy Shrader and Anchor Bull Company's Encore.

Moraes once again captured top honors in the second action packed performance that wrapped up Saturday evening in New York. He awed the capacity crowd with an 88.75 point ride aboard Berger/Daniels Bucking Bulls' Red Jacket. Young gun, Brain Canter (Randleman, N.C.) resumed his hot streak aboard Mike Solomon's Repeat with 87 points and second place in round two.

Jared Farley (Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia)--Dislocated right shoulder. Transported to area hospital for further evaluation. Doubtful to compete on Sunday.
