Lee competed in the Mossy Oak Shoot Out held at the conclusion of the first round and successfully rode Boyd, Floyd, and Paradise Farms’ Big Show to earn the $15,000.
Lee took a horn to the leg during his dismount in the first round, but wasn’t deterred during the Mossy Oak Shoot Out, explaining, “I knew I wasn’t hurt that bad and I wasn’t going to weaken because I wanted a chance to ride Big Show. I got out of shape initially but didn’t panic and made a move to get centered up and get him ridden.”
