The
Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) has been diligently working with building
planners to break ground on its expansive new corporate home in the city of
Pueblo, Colo. The PBR is proud to announce that this historic official groundbreaking
ceremony, in cooperation with PEDCO (Pueblo Economic Development Corporation),
will take place on Tuesday, April 11 at 10:30
a.m. The PBR World Headquarters will move to the Historic Arkansas
Riverwalk of Pueblo (HARP), which is the city's newly constructed 26-acre urban
waterfront experience. The date of the move is contingent upon building
progress but predictions are that by the spring of 2007, PBR will have
relocated.
PBR
celebrities and members of the organization's board of directors will be in
attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony as well as the entire PBR staff and
PEDCO representatives. Board members J.W. Hart (Gainesville,
Texas), Adriano Moraes (Cachoeira Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil),
Aaron Semas (Prineville, Ore.),
Michael Gaffney (Albuquerque, N.M.), Cody Custer (Wickenburg, Ariz.), and Cody Lambert (Merkel, Texas)
will all attend the groundbreaking.
Since
announcing its relocation in August, 2005, PBR management has been on task
planning every detail of the new facility. On March 21, the organization announced
the official relocation of its Merchandise Warehouse facility to Pueblo, representing the first
leg of the journey.
Randy Bernard,
Chief Executive Officer of the PBR states, "I am very pleased to announce
this groundbreaking event because it brings our move to Pueblo one more step closer to becoming a
reality. The PBR is proud that our entire board of directors will also be on
hand to meet the folks with PEDCO as well as city leaders, and witness first
hand the hospitality of our new community."
In association
with PEDCO (Pueblo Economic Development Corporation), the city of Pueblo has engineered
efforts to attract booming industries such as the PBR. "Being involved in
planning and building a new home for the PBR in Pueblo has been a very exciting process. To
finally break ground on the site and see the vision of such a world class
organization as the PBR come to fruition in the heart of downtown Pueblo is tremendous,"
stated Jim Spaccamonti, PEDCO President.
