The Cabela's Classic marks the mid-way point in regular season Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) tour action and is pivotal in the battle for the most coveted award in professional bull riding ' the million-dollar PBR world championship. Jason Bennett (Honeygrove, Texas) dominated first go round action of the event, held tonight at Kemper Arena. Second go round action gets underway on Saturday at 7:50 p.m., while Sunday's performance begins at 2 p.m. The third performance culminates with an electrifying championship round for the top 15 qualifiers who will be chasing a shot at the prestigious event title.

Adriano Moraes (Cachoeira Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil) went into the event with an 859.25-point lead over Mike Lee (Decatur, Texas) in the BFTS point standings. Despite recent injuries to both his groin and left hand (riding hand) the two-time PBR World Champion is in relentless pursuit of his third world title, and his career earnings are fast approaching the $2 million mark at $1,973,868. Moraes is a mere $26,132 from crossing the $2 million dollar milestone in PBR career earnings and finished just out of the money in round one. The tour makes consecutive stops each weekend from now through the end of April and promises bull riding fans one of the most intense and action packed races in sports.

As the first go round winner Bennett was awarded a shot at the $10,000 Mossy Oak Shoot Out reward, however failed in his attempt against Frontier Rodeo Company's Rocket Man. The Mossy Oak Shoot Out bull on Saturday night is Leroy of Page and Teague Bucking Bulls and the available bonus will be $15,000.
